Three people are expected to be charged this morning in connection with the Flint water crisis.

According to sources, the charges will include felonies. We are being told the allegations include changing records to cover up positive lead results.

Sources say two officials are with the state and another works for the city of Flint.

An announcement is also expected from Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette at 1 p.m.

While the Michigan Attorney General's office says Attorney General Bill Schuette will make a significant announcement, they are not commenting on the nature of what he will be saying.

Schuette will be joined by Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton, Special Counsel Todd Flodd, Chief Investigator Andy Arena and Deputy Chief Investigator Ellis Stafford when he makes the announcement.

The announcement result from the investigation into the Flint water crisis.
