It turns out those unclaimed coins add up to a lot of money each year!
TSA says it collected $765,759.15 last year in loose change at airports across the country.
We checked, and that amount has been going in every year since 2008.
Congress has given TSA the authority to use the money found at checkpoints for security operations.
