Two more credit card skimmers have been found in metro Detroit with a third found on the west side of the state during a statewide blitz over the weekend.
According to the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the blitz happened across the state on Saturday with help from more than a dozen agencies.
The skimmers were found at Mugg & Bopps South on Michigan Ave. in Howell, the Mobil on E. Grand River in Howell and a Citgo on 17 Mile Rd. in Cedar Springs, Mich.
Other cities where skimmers were found include: Chelsea, Birmingham, Roseville, Rochester Hills, Detroit, Livonia, Dearborn, Howell, Westland, Wixom Belleville, New Hudson and Ann Arbor.
Skimmers can be installed discreetly, and steal your debit and credit card numbers every time a credit card is swiped at the pump.
