DENVER (WXYZ) -- Jagged Mountain Brewery is honoring former Michigan State punter Mike Sadler with a new beer.
The 'Hey Diddle Diddle' wheat ale is named after a famous trick play Sadler was involved with during a 2013 game.
According to the brewery's website, the beer is "brewed with oranges and apricots, and finished with a touch of Belgian yeast and roses. 'Hey Diddle Diddle' recalls fond memories of a great person and Spartan."
Sadler was killed in a car accident in July 2016.
Michigan State alumnus RJ Banat is co-owner of the brewery, which is holding a special event on June 2 for the brew's release. Jagged Mountain Brewery says it will donate one dollar to the Mike Sadler Foundation for each 'Hey Diddle Diddle' sold until it runs out.
