Jim Harbaugh sees progress in the play of Michigan quarterback John O'Korn.

For one, he emphasized not turning the ball over after the Wolverines did so five times against Michigan State. Leaving Indiana without a turnover was a positive, Harbaugh told Brad Galli in WXYZ's weekly 'Inside the Huddle' conversation.

"We've talked about it before. The quarterback's first job is to not let the team lose. That's what he is there for -- for that purpose," Harbaugh said.

Calling or labeling O'Korn a 'game manager?' Harbaugh wasn't having it.

"Oh stop," he said. "It's been used so many times."

"First of all, you play winning football. That's what you need at the quarterback position. We thought John did that. And then next, you're striving to play well," Harbaugh added.
