Caris LeVert was a star for the Michigan Wolverines before an injuries cut his junior and senior years short, but still, he's in the NBA making his dream of playing professional basketball a reality.
Sunday at Ann Arbor Huron, he hosted 150 kids at his first youth camp as an NBA player.
"To be able to put smiles on these kids faces, that's what it's all about," LeVert said.
LeVert did not have a NBA player at any of the camps he attended as a youth, and said that it would have made all the difference to him if it would have happened, now, he is excited to be the guy these kids can look up to.
"I said when I got to that position, I wanted to do that for these kids," LeVert added.
