If you are heading down to Belle Isle this weekend for the 2017 Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix, you need to give yourself extra time for parking and transportation to get to the race.

There is no parking allowed on Belle Isle during the weekend, and you will instead to shuttled to and from the island on buses.
The Grand Prix offers the round-trip shuttle from two different locations in downtown Detroit, as well as a shuttle from Windsor.
The shuttles going to Belle Isle will leave from Cobo Center and the GM Renaissance Center. They will then drop off coming back from Belle Isle at Atwater Street and Schweizer Place, Cobo Center and in front of the GM Renaissance Center.
The shuttles run continuously from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, and from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
