Stadium Super Truck driver Arie Luyendyk took 7 Action Sports reporter Kacie Hollins for a spin Friday morning.
Luyendyk -- who has been driving in this series since 2013 -- gave her a tiny taste of what it's like to race trucks. He says he enjoys it because it's so different front IndyCar.
"The fastest guy...he has to start in the back. It's a short race. Only the top three get paid. Throw a couple jumps out there, and these trucks...it's a full contact sport. We're hitting each other in the air, and through the corners to get to the front, so it's action-packed and people love it," explained Luyendyk.
This year, Luyendyk is driving the Lear Corporation truck. He finished second last year in the first race, and says he's obviously hoping to do one better this year.
