DETROIT (WXYZ) — The Lions Fantennial Weekend will be held September 27-29, culminating in the Homecoming Game against the Kansas City Chiefs at 1 p.m. EST.
The schedule is as follows:
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 28
o The Brush Street tailgate – normally only held on Lions Gameday – will be open from 1 – 6 PM.
o Autographs with Lions Legends will be available from 2 – 5 PM.
o Admission is free and pre-registration is not required.
o Activities will include a zip line, food trucks, face painting, balloon animals, a Lions Locker Room Sale and live music in a celebration of Lions fans.
o The Lions Locker Room Sale is the opportunity to purchase a variety of Detroit Lions memorabilia including, jerseys, merchandise, helmets, locker room stools and autographed items.
§ All proceeds generated from the yard sale will benefit Detroit Lions Charities, the 501(c)(3) nonprofit of the Detroit Lions Organization.
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 29 ((Homecoming against the Kansas City Chiefs))
o The All-Time Detroit Lions team will be unveiled at halftime of the Lions game against the Kansas City Chiefs, have a fan-focused game presentation and a DTE Power Hour giveaway of an NFL 100 themed collectible koozie set for the first 25,000 fans.
o Additionally, the National Anthem will be performed by more than 100 high school students representing seven counties in Michigan.
For the 2019 season, the Detroit Lions will be selecting Lions fans to take part in once-in-a-lifetime opportunities including lunch with Lions owner, Martha Ford, running out of the tunnel with the team, an all-expense paid trip to a road game, a wedding at halftime and more.
