Actions being take to make sure children in need have access to healthy foods during school closure

SOUTHFIELD, MICH (WXYZ) — The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, Variety Feeds Kids, and Meijer are teaming up to feed in need during the upcoming three week school closures across Michigan.

A food giveaway will be held Saturday, March 14, at the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office Pontiac Substation, located at 110 E. Pike St. in Pontiac. Distribution will begin at noon and last until supplies run out.
