Get ready for a yummy good time as Girl Scouts of Southeastern Michigan (GSSEM) hosts its 6th Annual Cookie Gala!
The gala will be held at the MGM Grand Hotel Ballroom on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 6:00pm - 9:00pm.
Eight of Detroit area’s finest bakers and chefs will compete against each other in a tasty competition; each using a designated Girl Scout cookie as the main ingredient in their dessert. Awards are given to the participating chefs each year for People's Choice, Judges' Choice, Girls' Choice, and CEO's Choice.
This year’s line-up will include two new, Detroit-based restaurants. Detroit’s Granite City Food & Brewery and Good Cakes and Bakes will be first-time features in this year’s gala. Returning participants include MGM Grand Detroit, Fifty-One O One, Crispelli’s Bakery and Pizzeria, Holiday Market, Treat Dreams, and Big Rock Chophouse.
Attendees will have the opportunity to taste the delicious creations, bid on silent and live auction items, and most importantly, partake in an awesome event that benefits girls all over Southeastern Michigan.
