DETROIT (WXYZ) — One of Michigan’s most celebrated sporting events is approaching – the Battle for the Paul Bunyan Trophy, otherwise known as Michigan vs. Michigan State!
And just in time for kickoff, Detroit Wing Company has recently unveiled their new beer-pairing list for 18 of their popular sauces, which includes the likes of Atwater, Bell’s, Dark Horse and others. A few favorites that go great with locally-produced Atwater beer:
- Honey BBQ + Dirty Blonde Ale // The sweet tanginess pairs well with this downtown Detroit-brewed fan favorite
- Garlic Parmesan + D-Light Kolsch // Crisp and clean, but with a finish that holds on just a little longer to cut the cheese
