Inaugural Royal Oak Pizza and Beer Fest planned for Oct. 13

A celebration devoted to every type of pizza you can imagine will be held on Saturday, October 13 at the Royal Oak Farmers Market. The inaugural Pizza & Beer Fest will take place from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. (VIP event will start at 6:30 p.m.)

Tickets are $15 (in advance) and $20 (at the door) and include admission, a commemorative pint glass, a keepsake phot, live music and coat check.

Panzerotti

Ingredients:

          1 jar favorite pizza sauce

           1 # shredded mozzarella 

           8 oz pepperoni 

           Canola oil for frying

           16 ounce dough ball ( purchased at your local bakery or you can make it yourself)

      Steps:

           1. Roll dough out as thin as possible.

           2. cut into 6 inch circle

           3. Put desired amount of cheese, sauce, pepperoni on  one side of circle.

               ( you will be flipping dough over and crimping the edges so make sure 
                  Leave space so you can crimp the edges)

            4. Crimp the edges 

             5. Heat oil to 325 degrees 

             6. Put Panzerotti in hot oil brown on one side flip and brown on the other side.

                  ( be very careful when you flip please use tongs and don’t splash the oil)

              7. Let cool for 5 minutes and serve
