DETROIT (WXY) — More marches for justice will be held across the metro Detroit area on Sunday, June 7.
Participating cities include Wyandotte, Oak Park, Dearborn, and Livonia.
Two events are also planned to place in Detroit. At 3 p.m., Detroit teachers will be leading a rally near DPD police headquarters in downtown Detroit.
Detroiters are also asked to hold a nine minute silent vigil for George Floyd in front of their homes. The vigil will begin at 8 p.m. Participants can honor Floyd with either a candle, a flashlight or their porch light.
