In celebration of April as Autism Awareness month, local nonprofit Play-Place Autism & Special Needs Center is hosting a Pancake Pajama Party" on Sunday, April 28th from 10-1pm at the Macomb Intermediate School District located at 44001 Garfield in Clinton Twp., featuring all you can pancakes (including a pancake flipping show by Chris Cakes), sausage, fruit, face painting, bounce houses, princesses and super heroes arts & crafts and more.
Play-Place Autism & Special Needs Center's facility is open to all ages, all diagnoses, and all cognitive levels. Discounted tickets can be purchased on the website at autisticplayplace.org/PancakeParty [autisticplayplace.org] for $6/person. At the door, tickets are $9/person.
Proceeds will benefit the renovation of Play-Place's new home located at 39337 Mound Road in Sterling Heights to support their mission of providing a fun-filled, judgement-free haven of hope for individuals and their families affected by autism and other special needs.
