One of our favorite annual events is here! It's time to sign up for the Michigan Humane Society's 2016 Mega March for Animals.
The event is a two mile walk with proceeds supporting homeless animals in Michigan.
Donations and participation help rescue, shelter and care for hundreds of animals in need, and help them find good homes through the Michigan Humane Society.

Today, the Mega March will take place at Kensington Metropark in Milford, and at Stony Creek Metropark in Shelby Charter Township.
Registration for both walks begins at 9 a.m., and the walks start at 10 a.m.
The registration fee is $20.
While you're there, look for the Channel 7 team and come say hello to us ... and our animals!
Important to note: you don't need a four-legged friend to join in on the fun!
