(WXYZ) — We are already half way through the month of August, which means students everywhere are preparing to head back to school.
This can be an emotional time for parents sending their kids off into the world on their own. Even more so for empty nesters as their last child moves out of the house and into their own dorm or apartment.
Licensed therapist and mental health advocate Kelly Houseman shares tips on what parents in this situation can do to cope.
