DETROIT (WXYZ) — The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History will present ceremonies celebrating the first four principles of Kwanzaa, from December 26 through December 29, 2019.

During those four days, visitors to the legendary Midtown Detroit facility at 315 East Warren Avenue can expect to participate in thought-provoking lectures and witness riveting performances from the African Liberation Day Committee, Malcolm X Grassroots Association, Nsoroma Institute, and Aisha Shule.

Following these celebrations, the Museum will be closed for the remainder of 2019 in observance of New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. To learn more, visit https://www.thewright.org/events/kwanzaa-celebration
