Hally Vogel has joined WXYZ Action News as the weekend meteorologist.
Hally joins Channel 7 from WZZM 13, the ABC affiliate in Grand Rapids, where she recently served as the weekday morning and noon meteorologist for 7 years. Prior to that, Hally was the morning meteorologist and co-anchor for WPBN-WTOM in Traverse City, Michigan. However, it was in Cleveland where she started her career in television. Born and raised in Ohio, near Lake Erie, Hally is no stranger to the frequently changing weather in the Great Lakes.
Hally completed her undergraduate studies from Kent State University with a bachelor's degree in Radio/TV Production and a minor in Broadcasting. Hally was fascinated with weather at a very young age and followed her true love by completing the Broadcast Meteorology Program at Mississippi State University where she received a bachelor's degree in Geosciences. Hally has been awarded the AMS Seal of Approval.
When Hally isn't talking weather, she enjoys getting outdoors and spending as much time as possible with family.
