(WXYZ) — The heat and humidity is going to gradually build through the Woodward Dream Cruise weekend, and there will remain a slight chance of thunderstorms.

First, let's begin with tonight. A warm front moving through Michigan from the south will likely spark-up a few showers and thunderstorms overnight. It's possible some of these showers linger into sunrise Saturday morning.

Skies should clear up through Saturday morning, and temperatures shouldn't have trouble climbing above 85° in the afternoon.

It is possible we see an isolated shower or storm in the afternoon, but most areas will stay dry. There will be a slightly higher chance of storms after 6pm and into Saturday night as another atmosphere disturbance moves across Michigan.

Sunday could reach 90°, and strong scattered storms are possible Sunday afternoon.
