The first ever Belle Isle Art fair continues today, Sunday August 7th.
The fair will take place near the Scott Foundation and show and sell the creative work of 100 juried artists.
"This is one of the most beautiful locations you can imagine to view artwork - or the city skyline We're so thrilled to be part of the city's creative comeback," said event coordinator Mark Loeb.
It will include artists from several states as well as some of Detroit's high quality artists. Among them is photographer Alanna St. Laurent, whose photo of the Scott Fountain serves as the art fair's logo and identifier this year.
