(WXYZ) — Bell's Two Hearted Ale has been named the Best Beer in America for the fourth year in a row, and Bell's Brewery has once again been named the Best Brewery in America.
Bell's brought home the top honors for the 2020 Best Beers in America survey by Zymurgy Magazine, which is published by the American Homebrewers Association.
Bell's Hopslam was also named the fifth-best beer in the country.
“Being honored with this again, is beyond words. With the year we’ve all had, this is a huge win we can all celebrate. To my staff, to our partners, to the homebrewers, to everyone who celebrates this beer; thank you from the bottom of my heart,” Bell's President and Founder Larry Bell said in a release.
Two Hearted first claimed the top spot in 2017, but had been second for seven straight years before that.
Michigan was well-represented on the list.
Founders Kentucky Breakfast Stout came in tied for seventh-best beer, and Founders was also named the fourth-best brewery.
