Nicki Minaj took to Twitter on Thursday to announce she's retiring from music.
The rapper made the announcement Thursday morning, shocking fans with the sudden news.
Minaj, whose real name is Onika Tanya Maraj, said she wants to "have my family" and told her fans to "keep reppin me, do it til da death of me."

The 36-year-old musician certainly leaves behind a legacy. She's the first female rapper to to notch 100 appearances on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and to sell 100 million units across her albums, singles and features as certified by the Recording Industry Association of America.
