(WXYZ) — All lanes of northbound I-75 at M-3/Gratiot in downtown Detroit are closed as crews respond to a tanker crash.

The fuel tanker flipped over around 12:15 a.m. Tuesday morning.

According to Michigan State Police, the truck contained five separate tanks and hauled a combination of clear diesel, dyed diesel and 87 octane fuel. When the truck overturned, dyed diesel leaked out onto the roadway cuasing very slick conditions on the road, police say. The truck is overturned on an incline, causing the diesel to flow down the runway. Diesel made its wayinto the catch basins as well.

Police say the driver suffered minor injuries. He told police he came into the curve and the truck began to fishtail and he lost control.

The ramp to northbound I-75 and SB I-375 is currently closed. Traffic is being rerouted onto Gratiot Avenue. Crews are attempting to drain the tanks.
