(WXYZ) — Gas prices in Michigan are up 3 cents compared to last week, AAA Michigan reports.
Drivers are now paying an average of $2.18 per gallon for regular unleaded, 1 cent more than this time last month.
Motorists are paying an average of $33 for a full 15-gallon tank of gasoline.
"If demand remains low amid tighter stock levels, motorists will likely see moderate fluctuations in pump prices," said Adrienne Woodland, spokesperson, AAA - The Auto Club Group.
Compared to last week, metro Detroit’s average daily gas price decreased slightly. Metro Detroit’s current average is $2.21 per gallon, 1 cent less than last week’s.
