(WXYZ) — Gas prices in Michigan dropped 13 cents compared to a week ago, AAA Michigan reports.
Drivers are paying an average of $1.73 per gallon for regular unleaded. The price is 65 cents less than this time last month.
AAA says motorists are paying an average of $26 for a full 15-gallon tank.
Pump prices are continuing to decline around the country in response to the impact of COVID-19. Gas demand has dropped due to many Americans staying at home and practicing social distancing.
Metro Detroit's current average is $1.73 per gallon.
