(WXYZ) — Michigan drivers are now paying an average price of $2.59 per gallon, 7 cents more than a week ago. Drivers are now paying about 3 cents more than this time last year.
Drivers are paying an average of $39 for a full 15-gallon tank of gasoline, a discount of $8 from when prices were their highest last May.
The most expensive gas price averages were found in Traverse City ($2.65), Jackson ($2.62) and Marquette ($2.62.) The least expensive gas price averages were found in Flint ($2.53), Benton Harbor ($2.56) and Saginaw ($2.58.)
