(WXYZ) — Gas prices in Michigan are down 11 cents compared to a week ago, AAA Michigan reports.
Drivers are now paying an average of $2.36 for regular unleaded.
Motorists are paying an average of $35 for a full 15-gallon tank of gasoline.
AAA says prices will likely remain lower through the end of the winter driving season.
Compared to last week, metro Detroit's current average is $2.40 per gallon, 6 cents less.
The most expensive gas price averages were found in Marquette, Ann Arbor and Metro Detroit at $2.57, $2.43 and $2.40, respectively.
