(WXYZ) — Gas prices in Michigan are down 4 cents compared to a week ago, AAA Michigan reports.
Drivers are now paying an average of $2.15 per gallon for regular unleaded, 8 cents less than this time last month.
Motorists are paying an average of $32 for a full 15-gallon tank of gasoline.
"If demand remains low amid consistent stock levels, motorists will likely see stable pump prices in the weeks ahead," said Adrienne Woodland, spokesperson, AAA - The Auto Club Group.
Metro Detroit's average daily gas price also decreased slightly; the current average is $2.22 per gallon, about 2 cents less than last week's average.
