(WXYZ) — Gas prices in Michigan fell 5 cents compared to a week ago, AAA Michigan reports.
Michigan drivers are now paying an average of $2.11 per gallon for regular unleaded.
Motorists are paying an average of $32 for a full 15-gallon tank of gasoline.
"Demand is likely to decline as Michigan drivers settle into fall and take fewer road trips," said Adrienne Woodland, spokesperson, AAA - The Auto Club Group.
Compared to last week, Metro Detroit’s average daily gas price decreased slightly. Metro Detroit’s current average is $2.17 per gallon, just 1 cent less than last week’s average and about 54 cents less than this same time last year.
