(WXYZ) — Michigan State Police are investigating two possible freeway shootings which happened Wednesday in Detroit.
The first incident happened around 10:30 a.m. near westbound I-94 and I-75.
Police say a female driver and male passenger were traveling westbound on I-94 when a confrontation occurred with a male driver in a blue minivan. The driver of the minivan then reportedly retrieved a handgun and fired multiple shots toward the victims' car. Police say the car was struck, but no one was injured.
The second potential shooting was reported at 11:15 a.m. but police said it as a delayed report. They say it happened on the westbound I-96 express lanes near M-39.
Troopers are out looking for evidence in both incidents and a possible scene for the second.
More information is expected to be released later.
