SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WXYZ) — Michigan State Police say southbound M-10 The Lodge is back open near Telegraph Rd. due to a deadly crash involving a semi. The highway was shut down around 8:15 a.m. and didn't reopen until after 5 p.m.

According to troopers, they got reports of a semi rollover around 8:15 a.m. and arrived on scene minutes later, determining it was a fatal crash.

A 55-year-old man was killed in the crash, troopers say. They are currently looking for a white SUV, driven by a woman who may have witnessed the collision around 8:00 a.m.

They will be closing the freeway to investigate the crash, and MSP says to expect delays in the M-10/Northwestern/Telegraph Rd. area, which is always congested during morning rush hour.
