(WXYZ) — State and local leaders will speak on the future of transportation in Michigan.

Topics will range from fixing the state's roads to creating a system that serves all Michiganders.

The symposium is hosted by the Michigan chapter of the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials.

Lieutenant Governor Garland Gilchrist will deliver the keynote address, with remarks from Wayne County Executive Warren C. Evans and COMTO President Bradley Mims.
