(WXYZ) — Gas prices in Michigan have increased by 12 cents and price hikes could be on the way, AAA Michigan reports.
During the past week, gas was at the highest price since November. The average price, now at $2.37 per gallon, has climbed a total of 32 cents in the past three weeks.
Despite recent increases, however, AAA Michigan reports that Michigan drivers are still paying almost 10 cents less than this time last yer.
The most expensive gas prices are found in Marquette ($2.42), Jackson ($2.41) and Saginaw-Bay City-Midland ($2.41).
The least expensive gas prices are found in: Traverse City ($2.32), Metro Detroit ($2.35) and Flint ($2.36)
