(WXYZ) — Westbound 8 Mile Rd. will be closed over I-75 for around two weeks beginning Sunday evening.
According to the Michigan Department of Transportation, the closure is so crews can perform concrete repairs on the bridge approach. The closure will start at 6 p.m.
The westbound 8 Mile service drive will remain open for traffic to access the other side of I-75. Eastbound 8 Mile will have repairs performed at a later date.
Drivers will be diverted onto the westbound service drive and can continue through until they re-enter the road. Eastbound 8 Mile will have all lanes open.
