500 young men from Detroit at MANCODE Technology Conference

500 young men from Detroit are putting their best foot forward at the 1st annual MANCODE conference.

The event is hosted by Microsoft at Somerset. It aims to teach inner city teens about technology, leadership and professional development.

The 1-day conference is being held at Wayne County Community College Downtown District from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

MANCODE 2017 also serves as the first step of the MANCODE initiative which involves a series of educational experiences surrounding technology.

Representatives from the City of Detroit Youth Services, The Wheeler Group, Campaign for Black Male Achievement and many other organizations will be present at the MANCODE conference.
