The class action lawsuits filed on behalf of the people affected by the Flint water problem could take years to resolve.  But an attorney the first legal team to petition the courts says her firm has experience challenging the State of Michigan before the judicial system.

Cary McGehee is a founding partner of the Royal Oak firm Pitt McGehee Palmer & Rivers, PC.  It specializes in employment, civil rights, and personal injury law.  McGehee's firm won a past prison abuse lawsuit against Michigan for $10 million.

McGehee, a magna cum laude graduate of the Detroit College of Law, discusses the Flint water crisis with me this Sunday at 10 o'clock on Spotlight on the News.
