Detroit police are investigating after a couple were shot and killed on Detroit's west side.
Crews were called to a home on Patton near Plymouth around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.
According to police, someone knocked on the door and the 48-year-old man who answered ran out of the house and was fatally shot on the front lawn.
A 45-year-old woman was then found fatally shot in the head in the family room.
A family member tells 7 Action News that the woman's kids were at the home at the time. One daughter took off during the shooting, another jumped out of the window, and the son was already outside.
Police are looking for two men who were wearing masks and driving a white Dodge SUV.
