Here's our winning entry:
Brian is a special needs teacher at Lincoln Park public school, teaching children with Autism. He has a huge compassion for his kids and the results show in milestones by these children.
Since he was 13 years old he has volunteered with a non-profit organization that helps people with life threatening diseases.
A few years back he won an award for having his student make a short video on bullying. They took 1st place, he took all his students to a Tigers game with the money.
This was a first for many of these students.
I am so proud of his hard work and dedication to these children. Even as he went thru kidney disease and transplant, his dedication did not stop.
