REPORTS: GM reaches deal in ignition switch case

There are multiple reports that General Motors has reached a deal with the federal government in the faulty ignition switch case.

The reports indicate the details of the settlement will be announced on Thursday. It's is expected to include a fine in the hundreds of millions of dollars, but less than the $1.2 billion Toyota had to pay.

GM is also expected to be criminally charged with making misleading statements and concealing information about the faulty switches.
