DETROIT (WXYZ) — A 30-year-old woman is dead and a 29-year-old man is injured after a shooting at Rouge Park on Detroit's west side.
The shooting happened at 7:20 p.m. at the park on Plymouth Road, according to Detroit Police. An altercation at the basketball court between two men sparked the shooting, with shots being fired by as many as five people.
A 27-year-old man is in custody, but Detroit Police tells 7 Action News they are still looking for three or four more suspects.
The condition of the 29-year-old man is unknown.
This is an active investigation, and information is subject to change, according to police.
