DETROIT (WXYZ) — Two people are in custody and nearly two dozen dogs were rescued after police and the Michigan Humane Society busted a dog fighting ring at a home on Tuesday.
According to police, it happening on Abington on the city's west side.
Police tell us the two people were arrested at the scene and that MHS took away 21 dogs from the scene. Their conditions are not known.
Police also said there was paraphernalia consistant with dog fighting found at the home.
