2 men, 1 woman fill U-Haul truck to capacity with trash, dump in Detroit

Police arrest three suspects for littering massive amounts of garbage in Detroit.

According to a release, two men and one woman were seen dumping large black bags of trash from a 20 to 24-foot U-Haul truck in the area of 7 Mile and Antwerp. 

Officers say the truck was filled to capacity. 

Eric Strong, 41 and Clarence Lake, 49, both of Taylor, were taken into custody on outstanding warrants. The third suspect, a woman, was advised and released because of medical issues, then taken to a local hospital, police say. 

Strong and Lake were issued blight violations in the amount of $3,530 at the scene. The U-Haul truck was also seized and all three suspects were charged with littering.
