DETROIT (WXYZ) — Here's what Detroit police are investigating overnight around the city.
Non-fatal shooting on Livernois around 2:20 a.m. Saturday
A 50-year-old male victim told police he was sitting in his truck, parked in a parking lot of a local business when he heard shots and felt pain. He suffered a graze wound and refused medical treatment, police say.
The incident happened between 2:20 a.m. to 2:30 a.m.
Right now, the suspect is unknown.
Another non-fatal shooting on W. McNichols at 1:50 a.m. Saturday
A 29-year-old man reported to police he was in the court yard area of an apartment complex when an unknown perpetrator began shooting at him. The victim was taken to a local hospital and listed in serious condition.
The perpetrator is unknown at this time.
Critical stabbing on Lafayette at 1:00 a.m. Saturday
Officers are still investigating the events of a stabbing that happened in downtown Detroit.
A 31-year-old security guard was escorting people out of a location on Lafayette when a physical altercation happened between him and the suspects.
An officer outside the location immediately took the victim to a nearby hospital where he was listed in critical condition, police say.
According to police, a knife was recovered at the scene, and three people have been arrested.
