DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit police are investigating a deadly shooting on the city's west side.
It happened Thursday, Feb. 20 around 8 p.m.. at a business in the 3300 block of Joy Rd.
Two male victims – ages 31 and 34 – were inside the dispensary, when three suspects entered an announced a robbery. Police say the suspects then allegedly shot the victims, killing the 34-year-old and critically injuring the 31-year-old.
After the shooting, the suspects took an undisclosed amount of marijuana from the location and sped off in a black dually truck, police say.
The circumstances surrounding this incident are still being investigated, according to police.
