(WXYZ) — The 2020 Woodward Dream Cruise is the latest event in Detroit to be canceled amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event was scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 15 and attracts more than a million people from around the world every year.
It officially began in August 1995 and is the world's largest one-day automotive event and now stretches from Pontiac to Ferndale along Woodward Ave.
The pandemic also canceled the Fourth of July Fireworks and the 2020 North American International Auto Show.
