MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. (WXYZ) — Michigan State Police are investigating a vehicle crash that caused injuries to three people.

The crash happened Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. on I-94 near 12 Mile Road.

According to a preliminary investigation, the male driver of a Silverado pickup truck was traveling eastbound on I-94 when he lost control and crossed the median, crashing into the median wall and a Ford SUV that was traveling westbound.

The driver of the the Ford SUV and their passenger sustained minor injuries. The driver of the pickup truck was taken to a hospital and is listed in critical condition.
