MDOT says a $3.1 million project to repair and resurace US-24 (Telegraph) in Wayne County will begin Monday morning.
The project will mill and resurface 2.7 miles of Telegraph between I-96 in Redford Township and M-5 (Grand River) in the city of Detroit.
Construction will include concrete patching, repairing curbs and butters, upgrading sidewalk ramps, improving pedestrian signal, drainage work and pavement markings.
The right lane will be closed on both northbound and southbound Telegraph at all times. During non-rush hours, an additional lane will closed. For paving and patching work, three lanes may be closed overnights and weekends.
At least one lane will remain open at all times in both directions.
MDOT says the work is expected to be complete in July.
