(WXYZ) — Detroit police are investigating two shootings that happened Friday night in the city.
Double shooting in the 9500 block of Braile
On Jan. 31 around 7:25 p.m. in the 9500 block of Braile, altercation took place between known individuals, police say. The suspect fired shots, killing a 35-year-old woman and injuring a 32-year-old man.
The circumstances surrounding this incident are still being investigated, according to police.

Non-fatal shooting on 1900 block of Chene Court
On Jan. 31 around 10:00 p.m. in the 1900 block of Chene Ct., the suspect and 54-year-old male victim were involved in a physical altercation. That's when the suspect pulled out a weapon and fired shots, striking the victim in the body, police say. Medics took the victim to a local hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
The shooting remains under investigation.
