4 rescued from fire on Detroit's east side

DETROIT (WXYZ) — Four people were rescued from a fire in Detroit.

A house went up in flames on Wilshire Street, located south of Chalmers and East Outer Drive.

Firefighters pulled four people from the home. Those victims are all suffering from smoke inhalation.

A 59-year-old man is in critical condition. Two of the other victims are women who are 22 years old and 49 years old. The youngest victim is a 16-year-old girl.

Officials are determining the cause of the fire.
